Who are the nine Emmerdale favourites fighting for lives in ITV soap’s limo crash

Emmerdale viewers fear that the limousine crash will lead to Leyla Harding’s demise after the character made a chilling remark earlier in the week but who is actually at risk of being killed off

It’s set to be a dramatic week on Emmerdale over the coming days as one unfortunate villager is set to meet their demise in the impending limousine crash.

The ITV soap is gearing up for an intense stunt, where two limousines carrying 17 villagers collide while on their way to a night out. In the scenes that air during tonight’s instalment of Emmerdale, two limos leave the village ready to celebrate Valentine’s Day

The women’s limo includes Kerry Wyatt, Amy Wyatt, Tracy Metcalfe, Vanessa Woodfield, Suzy Merton, Chas Dingle, Leyla Harding, Mandy Dingle, and Charity Dingle. Meanwhile, the men’s limo has Liam Cavanagh, Mackenzie Boyd, Sam Dingle, Bear Wolf, Matty Barton, Caleb Miligan, Cain Dingle, and Paddy Kirk.

However, the gendered limos are blended when Dr Liam Cavanagh swaps places with Mandy Dingle and hops in the girls’ vehicle in a bid to pop the question to girlfriend Chas Dingle. “I know we haven’t known each other very long and we’re different,” he tells her. “Very different. Polar opposites in fact… But you are the yin to my yang, the ping to my pong. Will you shut me up and make me the happiest man alive? Marry me?”

Who doesn’t make it out of the limo alive?

But before Charity can reveal her answer the limo veers off the road into a frozen lake, leaving passengers fighting for their lives, with one person stuck under the ice. The nine lives at risk are: Kerry Wyatt, Amy Wyatt, Tracy Metcalfe, Vanessa Woodfield, Suzy Merton, Chas Dingle, Leyla Harding, Dr Liam Cavanagh, and Charity Dingle.

Fans have already been busy speculating about the identity of the deceased after a shocking comment by Leyla Harding on Wednesday’s episode, as she eerily joked, “I am getting in that limo if it kills me.” This remark has led viewers to believe that the show is hinting at Leyla’s impending doom, and her ominous line might prove to be prophetic, marking the end for a soap legend.

Soap enthusiasts are now speculating that this is a hint at Leyla’s heartbreaking departure from the show, particularly after last year’s rumours of Shahidi’s exit following her 16-year tenure. With Leyla’s character rumoured to meet a shocking end, this latest development has sparked a flurry of speculation on social media.

On a Facebook fan page, one fan wondered: “Is this a clue? ” Another nervously speculated: “Well if that’s not a foreshadow I don’t know what is! ” A third fan expressed concern, saying: “Oh I really hope it’s not her! ” while others voiced frustration and dismay at the potential storyline, with comments like “I will be so mad if she dies! ” and “Poor Leyla,” adding to the fan frenzy.
