Major EastEnders twist as another character uncovers who killed Keanu

This article contains spoilers for Tuesday’s episode of EastEnders, which is already available on BBC iPlayer.

Just when you thought The Six storyline was all wrapped up in EastEnders, another twist has changed things again.

Another character discovered the truth about Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) murder in Tuesday’s episode of the BBC soap, following Bernie Taylor’s (Clair Norris) return to Walford.

Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) is currently locked up for killing Keanu, having falsely confessed to the crime on Halloween in a final attempt to control ex-wife Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal).

While The Six hoped this would be the end of their ordeal, Bernie has returned from a recent break furious to learn that Nish has taken the fall, and is determined to bring them down.

As fans will remember, a guilty Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) confessed she’d killed Keanu to Bernie back in September after their attempts to frame Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) fell apart during his trial.

On Tuesday, Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) discovered that her fiancée Suki and Nish had a blessing while she was away in Yorkshire.

Unable to comprehend why Suki would have done this, Eve pleaded with her to explain what Nish had over her, but Suki refused, knowing she would have to admit to her involvement in Keanu’s death to her partner.

Eve stormed out and headed to The Vic, where she bumped into a drunk and emotional Bernie.

The pair soon got to talking, as Eve tried to console Bernie by telling her jailed Nish was finally where he deserved to be.

However, when she mentioned her love for Suki, Bernie saw red and blurted out the truth.

‘You think she’s kind? Honest? Well, she ain’t,’ Bernie said.

‘You see, the thing is, Nish didn’t take Keanu away from me – Linda killed him… and your wonderful Suki helped her get away with it.’

Eve was left reeling as the truth lay bare before her – what will her next move be?

EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One and from 6am on iPlayer.
