Former Emmerdale star and Strictly Come Dancing winner Kelvin Fletcher comes from a very famous family.

Kelvin Fletcher has some very famous siblings – and two of them starred in a rival soap.

The Emmerdale star, who played Andy Sugden from 1996 until 2016 and appeared in a whopping 1,528 episodes of the ITV soap, isn’t the only actor in his family. Since winning Strictly Come Dancing, Kelvin might have opted for a quieter life on the farm, but he and his siblings are used to the spotlight.

Kelvin is the oldest of three brothers in his family, with his younger brother Brayden Fletcher known for starring in a 2016 episode of Coronation Street as an unnamed youth. His character tormented Chesney Brown in March that year.

Kelvin was left gushing over his brother’s Corrie role, tweeting at the time: “Who saw my little brother @Brayden_Fletch making his TV debut on @itvcorrie last night? He did great! Very proud!”

Incredibly, Kelvin’s half-sister Keeley Forsyth also made appearances in Corrie. An actress and singer, Keeley has released three solo albums, and starred in everything from Holby City to The Casual Vacancy.

She appeared in Corrie in August and September 2011, playing Shania – an inmate at Norcross Prison who was incarcerated alongside Fiz Stape, and made her life hell.

He was quick to support his sister when she dropped music, writing on X: “Check out my sister @KeeleyForsyth with her debut single! Just a little bit proud. Debris is available to pre-order now, including a limited edition gold vinyl version.”

Even Kelvin himself has appeared in Corrie as well as Emmerdale. He played an unnamed ‘lad’ back in 1996 – the same year he landed his iconic role as Andy.

Kelvin’s last sibling is his brother Dean, who appeared in the Strictly audience to support his big bro when he lifted the Glitterball trophy in 2019.

Claudia Winkleman asked Kelvin about their relationship, when Kelvin gushed: “He’s my best mate, I idolise him.”
