Jacqueline Jossa has admitted she ‘cannot cope’ as the EastEnders star shares a health update just days after telling her followers she’d ‘ruined Christmas’ after an accident
Jacqueline Jossa has shared a health update with fans, saying she ‘cannot cope’ after being struck down with a nasty bug. Taking to her Instagram stories, the EastEnders star shared a picture of her festive living room, as she sat on the sofa watching Harry Potter.
Writing over the picture, the 32-year-old said: “Feeling so rough, the bug has got me good. Hoping to be over the worst by tomorrow because I cannot copeeeeeeeee. Feeling sorry for myself.” It comes just days after the star admitted she had ‘ruined Christmas ’ after an accident at home. Days before the big day, the star shared a photo of her tree that had fallen on the floor, which she captioned: “Tried to move the Christmas tree and ruined Christmas.”
Sharing a more positive post before the big day, Jacqueline posted a range of photos with her daughters Ella, nine and five-year-old Mia, which she captioned: “WE ARE EXCITED! Osborne ladies are ready. I hope everyone has a fabulous Christmas, eats all the food and plays all the games! Wishing you all a very very merry Christmas.” In the snaps, the star could be seen hugging her children in front of a lavish Christmas tree as they wore matching baby pink pyjamas.
“Wow, your girls look so much like you, Jacqueline can’t believe how big Mia’s got happy Christmas to you and your lovely family. I’m waiting to see you on EastEnders tonight,” gushed one fan, while another said: “When did ur girls get so tall! And so grown up! Wow!”
Others were commenting on the huge EastEnders Christmas episode that Jacqueline aka Lauren Branning played a huge part in, as one exclaimed: “I am so glad you exposed cindy beale!!!!”
The epic festive episode on Albert Square saw Lauren expose Cindy Beale for her affair with Junior, by gifting Ian a USB with a recording to her admitting her feelings to David Wicks during his brief return to the soap. The revelation caused a huge argument in the Queen Vic, later leading to Ian kicking Cindy out the house.
However, things didn’t end there as just as Cindy was making her way out of Walford she was hit on the back of the head with a shovel. In a post after the episode aired, Jac said: “Thank you for the DMs and kind words. I love being back on the square causing much chaos. I love slipping Lauren’s boots on and ruining Christmas hehehe. Watching with my family and having them all guessing along etc will never get old and I’m extremely proud. I always say it and will continue to. I bloody love EastEnders.”
She also gave her fans a tantalising glimpse into what’s to come, hinting on her social media: “Wait till you see what’s in store for the next few months … as you guys know it’s the 40th anniversary [in] Feb 2025 and it’s EPIC!” before thanking fans for their support.
