The Tyrone Dobbs star will be missing his home comforts as he has ditched the life of luxury
Alan Halsall is one 12 contestants who have traded their life of luxury for I’m A Celebrity this season. The Coronation Street star has been a hit with fans since he travelled Down Under for TV’s toughest entertainment challenge.
Fans have taken to the soap star’s kind heart and were emotional as they spotted a sweet gesture in an episode this week. Maura Higgins entered the camp as a late addition and celebrated her 34th birthday on Monday’s show.
The show promised a birthday treat to mark the occasion, which the contestants speculated could be something positive like a party in the camp. However, true to I’m A Celebrity form, it was another challenge as the contestants were each given tickets to board the Fright Bus.
The challenge gave celebrities the chance to win a piece of luggage each from the luggage rack, described to contain holiday essentials, and even a tasty treat. Maura was nervous about the trial as her birthday looked like it would take a terrible turn.
However, Alan stepped in to offer words of reassurance as he said if he wins a treat and Maura doesn’t, he would give her his prize. Viewers were moved by the moment as Alan continues to shine in his bid to be crowned King of the Jungle.
Dan said: “Alan is such a sweetheart!! Really like him.” Chris added: “Alan is so so lovely. what a gent.” Emma commented: “PROTECT ALAN AT ALL COSTS!!”
While all celebrities have ditched their life of luxury for the camp, Alan will particularly be missing his home comforts. The 42-year-old has previously wowed fans when he provided a glimpse inside his luxury home.
The Corrie legend lives with his daughter, Sienna, who he shares with ex-partner, Lucy Jo Hudson. Alan’s followers regularly take to the comments to praise his stunning home.
The house is a huge white mansion, with grey doors and window frames, plus a large balcony on the first floor and several glass doors that lead out into the garden. In the garden itself, Alan has an enormous inflatable pool, as well as a large outdoor seating area and a wide patio area and lawn. Alan has previously shared a snap of the Christmas decorations, which wowed followers on Instagram.

Pictures on social media have revealed the interior design scheme inside the house is understated and classy, with a neutral colour palette used throughout the property. Alan has previously given an insight into his beautiful home when he has showed a short reel putting the Christmas decorations up.
In the reel, Alan has tagged his former partner, Tisha Merry, who he previously lived with. Tisha played Steph Britton on Corrie and the two regularly used to share updates with eachother.
However, it is believed the two have split as Alan has deleted many of their pictures together on social media and joked about single life in a post shared on Instagram earlier this year.
