Emmerdale viewers saw Will Taylor rise from the dead on Monday night after being ‘killed’ by Ross Barton, and there was a major twist on the ITV soap linked to Kim Tate
Viewers tuning into Emmerdale on Monday night finally learned Will Taylor’s fate, after he appeared to be killed off.
But as we learned Will was very much alive and in cahoots with Ross Barton, it emerged Will had sinisterly been plotting with someone to take down Kim Tate. But it wasn’t Ross, and was another familiar face who hasn’t been seen for weeks.
Last week Kim had tried to pay Will £100k to leave for good after their toxic split. When he refused, Kim blackmailed Ross into helping her get rid of him, but it all went wrong.
Ross ended up attacking Will and in a showdown, Will fell back and hit his head on a rock. He seemed to be dead, lifeless on the ground as Ross reeled from his actions.
A preview for Monday teased he was dead, as Ross claimed this to be the case to a stunned Kim. He burst into Home Farm and said he’d killed Will, before demanding she keep to her end of the bargain.
But during the episode there was a shock in store as a very much alive Will staggered into Home Farm. Confronting Kim, he told her everything including how he and Ross had teamed up.

He explained after the attack, he came round and he and Ross agreed to trick Kim and target her – as he vowed once again to take her down. But in a twist Kim confessed her love for Will, as he then admitted he too still loved her.
Soon enough the pair were back on, with Will’s near-death experience leading to them realising they wanted to be together. But just as the pair agreed to put things behind them, we found out Will’s true intentions and plan from the past few weeks.
Will had been having phone calls as he targeted Kim in recent episodes. He met up with her financial advisor and fling Peter in Monday’s episode, and all became clear – with Peter making his return to the show after weeks offscreen.
Peter and Will had teamed up to destroy Kim and take her for everything she had. The plan was still ongoing, but Will decided to call a stop to it after his reconciliation with his wife.
Peter was having none of it though, with it seeming that he’s in fact been after Kim for weeks! He claimed he’d put too much time and expense into targeting Kim, and that unless Will carried on with their plan he would expose his lies – so how will he get out of this one?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
