Emmerdale viewers have predicted who was driving the car missing April Windsor was seen getting into, as the search for the teenager continues on the ITV soap

Some Emmerdale viewers think they know what’s happened to April Windsor after her disappearance on the ITV soap.

The teenager has been struggling to cope recently after learning of how her mother Donna really died when she was a child. Not only that, but spoilers have hinted April is hiding thingd about what’s going on in her life – with this yet to be discovered.

April has been rebelling, lashing out at her loved ones and drinking alcohol. When she vanished without a trace on Christmas Day, Marlon was left fearing his daughter had been taken. Upcoming episodes will allude that April has run away, while this week we saw her getting into the back of a mystery car.

We could not see the driver clearly, but April got into the back seat as if she knew where she was going and who with. She’d been sat waiting as if she was expecting someone, before getting into the vehicle.

With her not having her phone with her, it’s unclear how she was able to meet with the mystery person as it didn’t seem like she’d waved down a stranger or any car she saw. So who is the person who met with April, clearly knowing where to meet her with her plotting to flee it seems?

Some viewers have shared their theories, believing they know who may have driven April away. Taking to X, some fans wondered if it would turn out to be Ruby Miligan’s father Anthony Fox amid the horrifying truth coming out about their past.

Anthony sexually abused his own daughter when she was a teenager, and now there’s fears from fans he might be the biological father of Ruby’s daughter Stephanie Miligan. Now, fans are panicking Anthony might some how be involved in April, a young teenage girl, going missing. But other fans believe it’s an old character coming back to the show who is with the missing teen.

Viewers have questioned if Scott Windsor, April’s uncle and the brother of her late mum Donna, is the person in the car. One fan posted: “If that wasn’t Scott they can f**k right off.”

Another viewer said: “Please say April has gone to stay with Scott or Kellie and we will get a return from one of day,” as a third wrote: “Perhaps it’s Scott.” A fourth fan simply wrote: “Scott.”

As for Anthony, one viewer theorised: “Ruby’s dad? They were certainly older.” Another said: “Ruby’s dad is the creepiest person, was that his car picking up April?” as a third commented: “Anthony possibly.”
