Multiple grizzly exits have been hinted at in the ITV soap for 2025

Emmerdale fans have ‘worked out’ who is set to die in upcoming scenes as a number of a flashforwards are set to give viewers a glimpse into the future.

Multiple grizzly exits have been hinted at in the dark teaser, which starts with the villagers counting down to midnight ready to welcome in the New Year in The Woolpack.

It comes as this New Year’s Eve (December 31), the ITV soap will feature five jaw-dropping flashforward scenes that will tempt and tease the audience with a taste of what’s to come in the Dales 2025 and the trailer has already been shared with fans.

The flashforwards are interspersed with the celebration in the pub and in the first flashforward, Mackenzie Boyd is seen running through the woods while Caleb Milligan is seen looking worryingly in danger as he lies in a hospital bed being ventilated before an undisclosed character is shown flatlining.

Cain Dingle is also shown standing by someone’s freshly dug grave, confirming a funeral had just taken place. He is seen dressed in a suit having attended the service while sobbing at the graveside and there’s also what appears to be a murder as a body wrapped in dark sheets is dumped into a river.

The trailer ends teasing another potential death sees a mystery character trapped underneath ice, with their hand pushed up against the solid ceiling above them. And fans think they have worked out two of the possible deaths.

Referring to the person trapped under the ice, Emmerdale fans think it could be Leyla Cavanagh after actress Roxy Shahidi’s exit from the soap was rumoured earlier in 2024.

As for who’s funeral Cain is at, @Starlight75 shared: “OMG! Whose grave is Cain at? Nate’s, Mack’s or is it Caleb he has flatlined?” @LikeATattoooooo typed: “My time has come. Right so the grave is Nate, Moira did it and John covered it up. This is what happened.” @Sir_Jeffers7 questioned: “Cain stood at a grave I’m saying Nate maybe? #Emmerdale.” @DylanDylan1909 added: “I think Cain might be at Nate’s grave, he’s been deceased this whole time #Emmerdale.”
