Emmerdale viewers are convinced they’ve rumbled the true ‘killer’ after Nate Robinson’s body was seemingly found in the frozen lake
Emmerdale fans think they have figured out the true frozen lake killer after Nate Robinson’s body was seemingly found.
Only recently, the hit ITV soap has aired devastating scenes following a deadly limo crash, which claimed the lives of Suzy Merton, Leyla Harding and Amy Wyatt.
As such, an emotional Tracy Metcalfe, who had been involved in the crash but fortunately survived, decided to leave her estranged husband Nate Robinson a tearful voicemail on Friday’s episode.
Tracy told Nate about the events in the village and admitted she missed him to which the camera panned onto the frozen lake crime scene as a mystery hooded person was seen watching as the police collected evidence.
Soap watchers will recall that when Amy fell into the frozen lake, it was revealed that there was a dead body in the water with her and the character tried to tell her loved ones that the body was seemingly Nate’s before she passed away.
With the mystery dead body appearing to be Nate’s, many soap fans have pointed the finger at either John Sugden, Caleb Miligan or Cain Dingle as the killer.
However, soap watchers think they’ve figured out the real killer and exactly what happened. Viewers will recall that last year Moira Dingle started a barn fire as she let off a shotgun following a troubling hallucination before her devastating brain tumour diagnosis.
Taking to Twitter, now X, one person said: “What if it was Mack who disposed of Nate ,supposing Nate died in the barn fire and Mack found him and to protect Moira who caused the fire he got rid of the body and this is what Mack was running from in the flash forward #emmerdale.”
Elsewhere, a different account wrote: “Calling it now, Moira accidentally killed Nate in the barn with the shotgun and Cain got rid of the body in the lake! #Emmerdale” while another added: “What if Moira killed him accidentally during the barn fire last year, and Cain covered it up and that’s whose grave we saw him crying by in the new year preview bc the truth will out now. #emmerdale.”
Viewers will remember that after a disagreement with his dad Cain and partner Tracy, Nate decided to move away to Shetland for a new job around the same time as the barn fire.
However, since leaving, Tracy has been unable to speak with him due to his calls going to voicemail and she’s only communicated via text, sparking even more suspicion especially as the soap has hinted the mystery lake body is Nate’s.
Emmerdale continues Monday to Friday at 7:30pm on ITV with an hour long episode on Thursdays. The ITV soap is also available to watch each weekday morning at 7am on ITV X.
