Emmerdale fans are convinced they have worked out Kim Tate’s link to Caleb Milligan and Will Taylor’s exit storyline
Emmerdale enthusiasts are convinced that Kim Tate has joined forces with Caleb Milligan in a plot to oust Will Taylor from the village.
The unraveling of Kim (portrayed by Claire King) and Will’s (Dean Andrews) marriage reached its peak when she disclosed his affair with former spouse Dawn Jackson (Christine Tremarco).
After extorting £50,000 from Will, the cunning Kim attempted to coerce him into relinquishing his business interests and departing Home Farm, but he stood firm.
In the latest episodes, a vengeful Will has made moves to sell Kim’s cherished horses and transfer his shares in the haulage company to her adversary Caleb (William Ash).
Kim was stunned when Will announced that Caleb had recommended a divorce attorney who vowed to invalidate the prenuptial agreement he had signed before their nuptials, reports Leeds Live.
At Home Farm, a jealous Will discovered that Kim appeared to have been intimate with her financial adviser Peter. A triumphant Kim boasted about having “the ride of [her] life, twice”.
Will hurled insults at Kim, even branding her a “trollop well past her sell-by date”, leading to Peter striking him.
Subsequently, Kim tended to Will’s injured nose with ice, confessing that Peter wasn’t “as aggressive in the bedroom” as he had been towards Will.
Despite Will’s appeals for reconciliation, Kim dismissed him, prompting Will to caution her that she would end up isolated.
Later, Kim sought out Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley) to express regret for her part in driving Rose away.
A furious Will paid another visit to Caleb at Mill Cottage with an offer they couldn’t refuse, proposing a partnership with the goal of avenging Kim.
“Let’s just say that she pressed a button,” Will divulged. “I want to bring her to her knees, make her life a misery.”
However, some Emmerdale fans have started theorising that Caleb might be collaborating with Kim as part of an elaborate scheme to topple Will in a dark twist.
Posting on social media, one viewer speculated: “I hope that in the end we will find out that Caleb and Kim are working together #Emmerdale.”
Another fan pondered the possibility of the plot being a lead-up to Will’s departure: “This storyline leading to the exit of Will, Caleb #Emmerdale.”
Meanwhile, a third exclaimed: “Will is more thick than I thought Caleb will screw him over first chance he gets and Kim will gobble up the crumbs left over.”
One particularly observant audience member suggested: “I swear Caleb received a call on his mobile from the same number as the person blackmailing Will. Now we know that was Kim, so are they in this together? #Emmerdale”.
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX
