ITV Emmerdale fans gush over ‘oldie but a goodie’ throwback snap of co-stars

Emmerdale star Natalie Ann Jamieson shared a rare throwback photo for fans of the Leeds-based soap

Emmerdale star Natalie Ann Jamieson shared an old snap of her with co-stars Ash Palmisciano and Olivia Bromley.

There’s been nothing but twists, turns and high-stake drama in recent episodes of Emmerdale with the soap tackling some harrowing storylines as we begin 2025. Natalie joined the Dales in 2019 to take on the role of Amy Wyatt who was previously played by Chelsea Halfpenny.

Amy was a key part in the storyline that saw Tom King’s lengthy infliction of abuse upon Belle Dingle in the latter half of 2024. Amy and Kerry became worried when Amelia Spencer became involved with Tom, and Amy even went as far as to try an encourage Amelia to leave the relationship.

Taking to her Instagram, she posted a throwback picture of her alongside Ash Palmisciano and Olivia Bromley who also appear in Emmerdale. In the caption Natalie wrote: “Don’t take yourself too seriously. An oldie but a goodie! Don’t we look little @ash.p.x & @oliviabromley_”

Ash (ash.p.x) commented: “haha wow! i’ve aged! ha good times” to which Natalie responded: “we are three very fine wines thank you very much! Never looked better.”

Ash’s character Matty Barton married Amy Wyatt on the show in 2024 who got engaged the year before while the pair were at The Woolpack pub. Amy proposed but Matty was originally concerned she only did so to strengthen her custody case for Kyle.

Olivia Bromley has been playing the role of Dawn Fletcher since 2018 and has been heavily involved with some serious storylines as of late. In recent weeks, Dawn has been grieving the sudden loss of her father Will Taylor who died of a heart attack on Christmas Day.

After the loss, Dawn was convinced that Kim had something to do with the death after Will left a pre-recorded video saying “Kim did it”. In the last few episodes, viewers have watched as Dawn started an affair with Joe Tate who returned to the Dales just before Will’s death – and fans of the show are speculating that there’s a darker reason for his return.

Fans of the stars also shared their love in the comments, @cameroncowan.3 wrote: “Awww that is a really nice, fab and lovely pic of you with Ash Palmisciano and Olivia Bromley there Nat. What a lovely picture of you three there as well.”

@macfarlane_stephen added: “What a fab pic.” Natalie also tagged co-star Amy Walsh (Tracy Metcalfe) and joked: “it’s the hairstyle!!” in reference to a post Amy made laughing that her character has had the same hairstyle for the last few years.

Emmerdale airs at 7:30pm on weekdays on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
