Fans have spotted clues that means Amy could be saying goodbye to Emmerdale
Emmerdale have been teasing fans all week with trailers and clues all to do with the horrific limo crash that will take place on Friday.
Love will be scarce in the Dales this Valentine’s Day as Caleb and Cain are warring, Leyla is struggling as she feels alone, Steph is worried about the disappearance of Anthony, and April is still unable to adjust to life back in the village.
While it may not be all doom and gloom as Liam prepares to propose to Chas, the night will take a sinister turn as both limos end up crashing in separate instances, with one nose diving into a frozen lake.
On New Year’s Eve, the ITV soap shared five flashforwards with fans, including one sinister looking scene where a hand was trapped under the ice. It’s safe to say that the identity of that person will soon be unveiled with the limo crash airing tonight (February 14).
Emmerdale have confirmed that 17 characters will be in trouble on Friday, but only nine will be in peril at the lake. The names of those involved are: Cain, Caleb, Bear, Paddy, Mackenzie, Matty, Sam, Liam, Chas, Kerry, Tracy, Leyla, Suzy, Amy, Vanessa, Charity and Mandy.
A few days ago, Ross Barton actor Mike Parr took to their official page and asked fans to share their theories on whose hand it could be.

On Friday, Emmerdale uploaded a video sharing people’s theories. Mike started the video with: “So guys, your guesses are in. I’m gonna go now see if I can find which cast members hand is underneath the ice.”
The actor proceeded to visit Beth Cordingly’s (Ruby) dressing room as he jokingly bent down on one knee so he could look at her hand, disgruntled he announced: “No, it’s not her hand! Whose hand is it guys?!”.
He then interrogated Georgia Jay (Steph) and Jack Downham (Noah) who also weren’t the culprits of the watery grave. Walking out of Jack’s dressing room, Mike came across Ned Porteous (Joe Tate) and as the latter spotted him he ran down the corridor as Mike chased after him.
Revealing it wasn’t Joe Tate either, he went for the final guess: Olivia Bromley (Dawn). Although we didn’t hear what he asked her, the question ended up in a comical “slap” as she went to hit Mark across the face.
While the video was all in good fun, it didn’t stop fans from guessing in the comments, with Amy Wyatt being a popular choice. @tattoo_loving_yamyam wrote: “It’s Amy’s hand you can see the bracelet that Amy was wearing”.
@_sophies added: “It’s Amy!!!!!” in agreement with several other viewers. Some fans are still convinced it’s Leyla as Roxy Shahidi is reportedly leaving the show this year, with u/calculatingmacaw on Reddit suggesting: “Leyla, because she’s alone and she’s just had a big fight with Jacob so her death would be all the more poignant.”
u/Specialist_ask_992_ also agreed: “Definitely foreshadowing Leyla dying and Jacob will probably feel guilty” discussing Leyla being upset over how lonely she feels and reference to when she dramatically declared she “will die” if she doesn’t get to go in the limo.
Emmerdale airs on weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
