Emmerdale’s Tom King removed the cameras he’d been using to spy on Belle Dingle in Monday’s episode of the ITV soap
Emmerdale’s notorious bad boy Tom King (played by James Chase) is feeling the heat as his estranged wife Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) starts to reveal her ordeal. Last week, the moment of truth for Belle came when she realised Tom was manipulating Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell) in his vendetta against her.
After months of torment and abuse, Belle bravely opened up to Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) about the hell she has endured since being married. Charity immediately believed Belle before she told Cain (Jeff Hordley) who was left furious but resisted reacting.
Belle’s harrowing experience has left the Dingle family reeling, yet she’s adamant about keeping the police out of it. With the walls closing in, Tom sensed impending Dingle retribution and on Monday (September 9), he began to erase his tracks.
Having secretly monitored Belle with hidden cameras in her home, Tom hastily removed the incriminating devices, reports the Express.
He then attempted to discredit Belle to Jimmy King, played by Nick Miles, claiming her accusations were driven by jealousy over his relationship with Amelia.
However, Emmerdale fans are scratching their heads over how Tom can slip in and out of Belle’s cottage undetected.
One viewer expressed their confusion on X, posting: “Caleb managed to see Moira and Nate out at the farm. But no-one sees Tom entering/ exiting Belles’ in the middle of the village #emmerdale.”
Another fan pointed out the implausibility: “#Emmerdale can’t believe Tom leaving house without anybody seeing him especially when there’s folk in street.”
A third added their observation: “No one noticed Tom sneaking into Belle’s house in broad daylight light but they always happen to hear conversations #Emmerdale”, while another quipped: “Tom with his black n decker #Emmerdale.”
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX
