Emmerdale have seeming revealed a new clue about what happened to missing April Windsor after she disappeared on Christmas Day
April has been missing since Christmas Day, leaving her father Marlon Dingle completely devastated by her running off. There had been fears she had been kidnapped, but it was later confirmed that she had taken money and thus it seemed like she had run away.
In Thursday night’s episode, Jacob was left terrified when he found out that a young girl had been rushed in from Leeds with a stab wound. The girl had been found with April’s purse, and Jacob felt he had no choice but to call Marlon and Rhona.
More details were revealed about the young girl and where the attack took place, with the police hinting that April might have been the instigator of the fight, rather than the one who was attacked.
However, in a twist, it was revealed that the girl that was stabbed wasn’t actually April, with fans of the show convinced they know now what might have happened to April when she went missing last week.
One viewer wrote: “#Emmerdale I knew it wasn’t April. She probably stabbed the girl while trying to steal her purse,” whilst a second added: “I’m calling it… It ain’t April, it’s the git that robbed her.. I bet she actually stabbed them! #Emmerdale.” A third took to social media to share: “Maybe april stabbed that girl when defending herself #emmerdale,” as a fourth penned: “April had her purse nicked. The thief then tried to nick somebody else’s, and they were stabbed. It’s the thief in A&E #Emmerdale.”
In huge scenes Thursdays night, Marlon and Rhona were told April was dead – before it was revealed that the girl wasn’t her.
The surgeon explained: “We did everything we could but despite our best efforts, we were unable to save her. She died during surgery. The stab would caused a laceration to her liver that we couldn’t repair. I’m afraid she lost a lot of blood and went into cardiac arrest.”

Asked if she would have been in pain, the surgeon added: “She was under anaesthetic, she would have been asleep the whole time.”
Marlon and Rhona were heartbroken by the news, as they begged to be able to see her. The police then explained that they would need to make a formal identification, with Marlon agreeing to do it as soon as possible.
However, it was later revealed that it wasn’t April who had been found – but instead another teenage girl.
