ITV Emmerdale ‘confirms’ mortal danger for character ahead of barn explosion and exit

With Nate Robinson being tipped to be on his way out of Emmerdale, soap fans have grown increasingly convinced his ‘explosive’ exit could see him getting killed off.

A barn fire is set to wreak havoc in Emmerdale next week, leaving fans to question if Nate Robinson will survive.

After five years in the ITV soap, actor Jurell Carter has been tipped to be leaving the Dales and his exit storyline was claimed to be “explosive” by sources close to the Yorkshire-based show.

Nate Robinson has since told his pal Mackenzie Boyd that he was planning to leave the eponymous village, leaving his estranged wife Tracy (Amy Walsh) in a confused state of mind.

Recent spoilers then detailed how a barn explosion could claim the lives of multiple characters, while Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) is set to believe Nate embarked on another affair with his wife Moira (Natalie J Robb). And with all the drama ahead, multiple viewers fear the farmhand will be killed off in dramatic scenes.

“Is Nate going to die in the fire?”, one fan of the Yorkshire-based programme recently asked over on Reddit. Another replied: “That would be so upsetting, esp as Caleb tells Cain he saw “Moira & Nate kissing”. Their last moment would be an argument over a misunderstanding.”

This soon prompted a third to suggest: “I think he’ll get badly injured in the fire doing something heroic to save Moira / one of the kids. Then there’ll be a final scene with Cain where they put everything right, and then he’ll die”, and a fourth to agree: “Yeah, I think it’ll go along those lines too. I just hope he and Cain don’t end on bad terms.”

Elsewhere, other fans argued that Nate could simply leave for Scotland, like many other Dingles before him in the likes of his half-sister Debbie, though another handful of viewers have also reminded that Ethan Anderson (Emile John) was given a surprise and heart-breaking exit after Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) hit him with her car.

While soap fans will have to wait before Nate’s fate is revealed, his relationship with his father Cain will be going downhill once again as the Emmerdale tough man will viciously beat the hunk over his alleged reignited affair with Moira.

Regular Emmerdale viewers will know that Moira’s relationship with her husband Cain was once left on the rocks when she embarked on an affair with Nate who, at the time, wasn’t known to be the tough man’s son.

While they have since moved on from the betrayal, Natalie J Robb’s ITV alter ego has sparked concern when she began to lash out against Cain, for no apparent reason, leading the pair’s marriage to be left on the rocks again.

Next week, tensions reach a boiling point when Caleb Miligan (Will Ash) mistakenly believes Moira and Nate (Jurell Carter) have reignited their affair, breaking the news to a furious Cain.

Taken aback, Cain decides to confront Moira with the supposed indiscretion but tempers flare again when the farmer plays it down and he struggles to take her word for it. Before long, Moira storms out, ending the conversation, but Cain seethes and soon takes his anger out on Nate.

Caleb then confronts Nate about his moment with Moira, while Nate’s estranged wife Tracy (Amy Walsh) is totally heartbroken to hear it all from the businessman. Before long, Cain arrives and is fuming to hear of Nate’s betrayal but as the hunk tries to explain what really happened, Cain snaps and punches him to the floor.

Consumed by rage, Cain rains punches down on his own son but he is soon pleaded by Tracy to stop, and despite Nate’s continued emotional denial, Cain walks out disowning him entirely. The encounter leaves Tracy and Nate in a difficult position as the pair were on the right track to leave for Shetland together with their daughter Frankie. How will his exit play out?
