Will Flanagan plays the role of Joseph Brown on the cobbles
Coronation Street fans have supported the Flanagan family after they marked a special occasion. Amelia, Bella and Will Flanagan all have major roles in the showbiz industry. Amelia is renowned for her role as April Windsor in ITV’s Emmerdale, Will plays Joseph Brown in Coronation Street and Bella plays the role of Hope Dobbs on the cobbles.
Chris and Rachel Flanagan are the proud parents to the three soap stars and they regularly shares updates from their happy family life to their Instagram account. Taking to Instagram today, October 30, they shared an update about their son Will.
Posting a series of images of the soap star and captioning the post: “Seven years ago you stepped onto the cobbles for the first time Your work family @samaston93 @dolly_rose_campbell and @jane_hazlegrove are such a good bunch and I see how much you love your doing what you do. So proud of you @will.flanagan.official @coronationstreet.”
Will Flanagan has played Joseph Brown on the long-running soap ITV soap since 2017 and in that time has been involved in many major storylines. His onscreen mum, Katie died in a car crash and after the incident Joseph moved back to Weatherfield to live with his dad, Chesney Brown, but the trauma left him unable to speak to anyone for a long time.
Earlier this year, Will’s character was diagnosed with Lyme disease believed to have been picked up from a camping trip he had gone on. Thankfully, the family were assured the damage caused by the disease was “usually totally reversible” given the correct treatment.
Fans took to the comments to support the actor. One comment said: “He comes across as such a lovely lad and a brilliant actor along with both his sisters, their parents must be so proud” another added “Fabulous little actor is William Flanagan super photos as well Flanagan family hope you all have a really super day today.”
Others fans of the acting family commented: “he’s fab” and “brilliant little actor”. The Joseph Brown star reposted the post to his own Instagram story with the caption “7 years just like that”.
