Coronation Street fans have been left very confused after they spotted something strange during Monday night’s episode of the ITV soap
Coronation Street fans were scratching their heads regarding a “missing” character on the ITV soap.
On Monday night’s episode, we saw Daniel Osbourne (portrayed by Rob Mallard) upping the ante in his clash with Debbie Webster (played by Sue Devaney), arguing Debbie’s driving endangered his son Bertie after a close call. Meanwhile, Bethany (Lucy Fallon) attempted to defuse the situation before she and Daniel popped over to the pub for a pint.
But viewers were left confused when it appeared that little Bertie was not accompanied by any of the characters, sparking questions on who was supervising the child whilst they drank away.
The plot thickened and continued to mystify audiences as Daniel had a spat with Bethany at the pub concerning Daisy (Charlotte Jordan), leading Bethany to go back to her mum Sarah (Tina O’Brien).

Post-row, while Bethany departed, Daniel proceeded to have one too many before being thrown out following a squabble with Kevin (Michael Le Vell) and subsequently noticed Kevin placing Debbie’s car keys on the tyre of her vehicle.
The next day, Debbie reported her stolen car to the constabulary, unaware that it was Daniel who had nicked and damaged it – with Daisy aiding him in hiding the evidence and offering him somewhere to stay, reports Lancs Live.
Yet, amidst the chaos, fans were still preoccupied with the whereabouts of Bertie. One viewer tweeted: “Who’s looking after Bertie? #Corrie,” and another echoed with: “Who’s looking after Bertie while Daniel’s getting drunk #Corrie.”

One fan tweeted: “#corrie Dad of the year, Daniel – not content with letting Bertie dart across the road when he wasn’t watching him – has now left him with who knows who? to go out getting legless,” whilst another shared: “I’m not surprised Bertie has no road sense. He’s never out his bedroom/cupboard they keep all the kids in. #Corrie.”
In a recent plot development, viewers saw Sarah Platt confront Debbie Webster at the hotel after discovering Debbie was the British shareholder behind the dodgy Turkish clinic where Bethany had botched surgery.
During the intense exchange, Sarah said firmly: “All this time you knew you had shares, watching Bethany go through this and you said nothing,” to which Debbie remorsefully replied, “I’ve said I’m sorry over and over, and offered to help in any way I can.”
Undeterred, Sarah declared, “Name the time and the place, and I’ll show you exactly what happens when you mess with my daughter.”
