Coronation Street fans are convinced they’ve rumbled Daisy Midgeley’s real baby daddy after the character learnt she was pregnant on Christmas Day in a huge bombshell

Coronation Street fans are speculating they’ve cracked the case on who could really be Daisy Midgeley’s baby’s father in the drama-filled ITV series.

After a Christmas Day revelation that she was expecting, fans have been gripped by a paternity intrigue involving her past with ex Daniel Osbourne and romance with Kit Green.

Although Daisy hasn’t yet broken the news to either potential dad, Daniel or Kit, she did confide in Jenny Connor, who has pledged to help her get a DNA test sorted as Daisy knows she needs definitive answers.

But the plot may thicken even further, as viewers are dabbling with the idea of another Weatherfield inhabitant being involved. There’s speculation that maybe Daisy’s former flame Ryan Connor, with whom she had an affair behind Daniel’s back before getting serious, might actually be the child’s biological father.

Meanwhile, Daniel moved on with Bethany Platt. However, Daisy and Ryan eventually split while Daniel had a short secret fling with Daisy again following a brief split from Bethany. But could Daisy and Ryan have also had a fling?, reports Lancs Live.

Taking to Twitter, now X, one person said: “plot twist, the baby daisy is carrying in ryans as kit and daniel are to childish to be fathers… #corrie”, a different account wrote: “That’s the summer baby storyline for Daisy and Ryan #corrie!” while another added: “Why is Daisy acting shifty? Is Daniel the real father of her baby?! #Corrie #CoronationStreet…”

Elsewhere, other viewers have a bizarre theory that Daisy could have slept with David Platt amid his own wife Shona Platt’s betrayal with Kit.

One fan posted: “So random but I feel like the real father of Daisy’s baby in #Corrie could be David. Him and Shona have been rocky and he’s been stealing – why not cheat too? Would give him an interesting storyline for 2025 as well.”
