The two colleagues go head-to-head.
Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers.
Home and Away’s Bree Cameron seeks revenge against her work colleague Levi Fowler on UK screens next week.
The disgraced doctor plots trouble for Levi following his decision to report her for nearly killing Alf Stewart at the Northern Districts Hospital.
Before Home and Away took its annual break for Christmas, Alf suffered agonising chest pains outside the Surf Club and he was rushed off to the emergency department.
Alf’s health scare coincided with a career crisis for Bree, who’d become obsessed with triple-checking every last detail around the hospital to avoid making mistakes. Bree hasn’t been her usual decisive self at work since the tragic death of Felicity Newman.
When Alf’s condition worsened, Bree froze under the pressure and she refused to administer the treatment that he urgently needed. She clutched a needle but was reluctant to inject it as she wanted to verify that she had the exact amount needed.
This created a dangerous delay to Alf’s treatment and Levi was deeply concerned as he witnessed the incident.
In next week’s episodes on Channel 5, the day of Bree’s medical tribunal arrives as she needs to face official questioning over what happened.
Bree feels resentful when she crosses paths with Levi, who’s on his way out of the room after making his own damning statement about her behaviour.
As Bree heads inside to take her own turn, she desperately tries to get out of trouble by making a series of unfair attacks on Levi’s character and professionalism.
Bree lies that Levi is an egotist who swept in to disrupt her treatment of Alf for no reason. She also makes out that it isn’t the first time Levi has done this.
As Bree declares that it was Levi’s behaviour that risked Alf’s life, the hospital bosses don’t know who to believe and they call Levi back in for a further interview the following day.
Now fearing for his own career, Levi heads over to see Bree and demands to know exactly what she has accused him of.
Bree’s partner Remi Carter finds himself caught in the middle, but he quickly realises that his girlfriend isn’t acting like her usual self. He urges her to see that she’s in the wrong and shouldn’t be treating Levi like this.
In the end, Bree withdraws all of her complaints, but she takes leave from work so that she can avoid being suspended for causing so much trouble.
Remi points out that Bree still isn’t taking responsibility for her actions and this can’t end well, but will she pay any attention to his warnings?
Home and Away airs these scenes on Thursday, January 16 and Friday, January 17 on Channel 5.
