Abigail takes a big step forward as her feud with Eden continues.

Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers.

Home and Away will introduce a new character to UK viewers next week, as the Fowler family continue to face internal tensions.

Following the recent arrival of Eden and Levi’s younger sister Abigail to Summer Bay, it has become clear that the relationship between the three siblings is anything but harmonious.

In scenes that will air in the UK on Channel 5 next week, Levi and Eden catch up about the situation with Abigail, after she was recently targeted by drug dealer Dom.

Now that Abigail is in recovery from her drug addiction, Levi tells Eden that he has arranged for their sister to see a counsellor named Tim Russell, leaving Eden feeling optimistic.

Unfortunately, Abigail is far from pleased by the news and she makes it clear that she doesn’t want Eden to be the person to take her to her first counselling session.

After ignoring Eden the whole way to the counselling centre, Abigail is met by a friendly Tim, who immediately senses that there’s tension between the sisters.

But just as Abigail is heading in, she decides that she can’t go through with the session after all and she runs off. When Eden catches up with her, she urges Abigail to give counselling a try, telling her that this is her best chance to make a change in her life if that’s what she really wants.

Abigail still refuses to go inside, so Eden gives as good as she gets in return and announces that she won’t drive Abigail home unless she attends her session.

While Abigail is confident that she can wait it out in the car, Eden starts to drive her crazy and she soon gives in, storming back towards Tim.

As her counselling session gets underway, Abigail finds it hard to open up but her desire to be free from drugs once and for all wins out. She is soon confiding in Tim about how lonely she feels at uni, as well as the trauma that she is still experiencing after being abandoned as a child by her dad and then by Eden.

Tim gently tells Abigail that he can help her overcome her past, but reminds her that she will really need to commit to the counselling process to do so.

In the days following Abigail’s counselling session, Eden tries to reach out to Abigail, but her sister is still frosty. Eden soon begins to worry that Tim has influenced Abigail’s feelings toward her, particularly as Abigail still won’t tell Eden what the root of the problem is.

Will Eden ever be able to mend her relationship with Abigail?

Home and Away airs these scenes in the week commencing Monday, January 13 at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
