Home and Away to air Cash and Eden’s proposal outcome

Yes or no?

Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers.

Home and Away airs the outcome of Cash Newman and Eden Fowler’s proposal drama on UK screens next week.

The show leaves fans with a big cliffhanger this Friday (September 20) as Cash spontaneously pops the question to Eden.

Cash is inspired to ask Eden to marry him after a candid chat with Remi Carter helps him to realise that his girlfriend is “the one”.

The policeman’s decision shocks Eden, who isn’t used to Cash throwing caution to the wind with grand gestures like this.

In follow-on scenes next week, Eden pushes Cash for answers as she openly questions his motives for proposing.

Eden reminds Cash of their previous “proposal” incident last year, when he seemed terrified over the possibility of marrying her. She’s sceptical that his stance could have changed so quickly.

As Eden seeks space, she confides in her friends over why she’s so apprehensive. Her loved ones, including Remi, encourage her to think carefully before outright rejecting the proposal.

Meanwhile, Cash also needs someone to talk to and he chooses his sister Felicity, despite their recent conflict over the arrest of Rory Templeton.

Cash calmly discusses things with Felicity, insisting that the proposal was genuine despite being so spur-of-the-moment.

Felicity also takes the time to give Eden some advice, suggesting that she should just be honest with Cash rather than hiding away from him.

In the end, Cash invites Eden to meet him on the beach and he assures her that he doesn’t want her to do anything she’s not comfortable with.

However, when Cash adds that he wants to spend the rest of his life with Eden whatever happens, she suddenly realises that her answer is yes. How will everyone react to their engagement news?

Home and Away airs these scenes on Monday, September 23 on Channel 5.
