Tane’s anxiety increases as Harper continues to miss his calls. He frantically searches around town for her, worried because they’re both supposed to be supporting Perri in court. Harper continues to ignore his calls, not wanting him to know that she’s in the hospital.

Dana convinces Harper to finally pick up her phone. She lies and tells Tane she overslept. Dana steps in and grabs the phone, telling Tane that Harper’s actually in the hospital and he needs to come right away. When Bree tries to tend to Harper, Dana jumps in and flat out refuses, advising her to go home and get some rest. She warns Bree not to come anywhere near her sister.

Bree arrives home after her tense exchange with Dana at work, and finds that Remi has made her breakfast. Instead, she just wants to be in his arms, comforted from her hurting. He can tell that she’s more than just tired and sits her down. She bluffs and tells him that she was simply bothered by someone disagreeing with her at work.

Remi’s confidence in Bree as a doctor makes her switch gears and she heads back into work to do Harper’s ultrasound scan. The room is tense and silent as everyone searches the screen for proof that the baby is okay. There’s a sigh of relief as they see the baby and hear its healthy heartbeat. Tane and Harper melt at the sound.

After the ultrasound, Bree pulls Dana aside and tells her she was out of line for questioning her authority. Dana goes to Remi to raise her concerns, but Bree overhears her telling him she probably needs help.

Bree turns the corner and Remi and Dana are very much caught out. When Remi tries to smooth things over, Bree hits him with a hard question – does he think there’s something wrong with her? He hesitates, which is enough of an answer for her.

Tane is walking on clouds after hearing his baby’s heartbeat, but when Rose calls him, he learns that Perri’s dad was found not guilty.

Meanwhile, Justin sits Theo down to apologise for making him work yesterday, confirming that he is definitely not punishing him for his mistake with Claudia’s car. Later, when he picks up Claudia, he bluntly tells her that their arrangement has to stop because it’s causing him to lie to his family.

Later, Theo’s walking with Remi when he spots Justin, helping Claudia out of his car. She asks him if there is any way that they can actually continue with their arrangement. He agrees that her work is important, and he wants to help her. The ordeal looks very suspicious from Theo’s removed point of view.
