Kaia informs Perri that she’s going back to New Zealand. Perri remains dismissive but when Tane points out that he could miss out on his last chance for a reconciliation, Perri chases after Kaia and asks if she wants to have dinner with him tonight.

That evening, Perri thanks Tane for everything and admits that he wants to join his mum when she goes back to New Zealand. The next morning, Perri says an emotional farewell to Tane and Harper.

As Perri goes, Harper reflects on everything Tane did for the teenager – and how lucky their own son is to have Tane as his dad. As Tane leans in for a kiss, could romance finally be on the cards for him and Harper?

Meanwhile, Alf apologises to Bree for Roo behaving rudely towards her. He encourages Bree to focus on taking the right steps to avoid anything similar happening again.

Elsewhere, John clarifies that Dana hasn’t been trained to drive the buggy and should have checked her emails. Dana’s complaints of sexism have clearly hurt John, as he encourages her to resign if she thinks she’s working with an old dinosaur.

The next day, Dana finally receives her induction and is allowed to drive the buggy for the first time. However, when Dana tries to repair their friendship, John makes it clear that he can’t forgive her hasty accusations.
