Leah and Justin discuss Felicity’s funeral, both feeling uneasy about how small and far away it will be. Justin visits Salt to make sure Mackenzie’s okay and tells her about the plans for the funeral.
Close to tears, Mackenzie struggles with Cash’s decision to keep it small, because family aren’t the only people that love somebody. Justin mentions maybe it would be good to have a memorial for Felicity in Summer Bay. They get straight into planning and spread the word.
Meanwhile, Abigail continues to steal from Levi’s bank account, but he’s hesitant to take Mackenzie’s advice and block the stolen card. She continues to push him to do something, because Abigail is taking advantage of him, but he confesses that it’s simply a relief to know that Abigail’s okay when he sees her spending money.
Mackenzie wears him down and he blocks the card. The next morning, an enraged Abigail confronts her brother for cutting her off. She does not look well.
Mackenzie tells Rose about what’s going on with Levi and Abigail, and Rose alerts her about the money that was stolen from the surf club. Levi obviously covered for his sister. Mackenzie arrives back at the house, enraged. She snaps at Levi for lying to the police and tells Abigail she should leave.
At the bus stop, where Abigail is attempting to make a run for it, Levi grabs her arm. She yelps, breaking down in tears. In her vulnerable position, she’s forced to show him her arm, bruised from injections. What is she using?
Elsewhere, Mali opens up to Alf about his painting and gives his reason for wanting to keep it to himself – he was working through a lot of anger when he started it. Alf shares his interpretation of the painting with Mali, which is much lighter than the idea that brought it to life. He suggests that it wouldn’t matter who looked at the painting, they wouldn’t be able to see the darkness behind it. But Mali’s still not keen on putting the piece into a competition.
