Their unresolved feelings are revisited.

Episode 8353

John finds Eden drowning her sorrows at Salt after bumping into Cash on his run. After offering his heartfelt sympathy, John offers to join Eden at the bar. After they get kicked out of Salt, John offers to walk a very drunk Eden home. Her emotions come to the surface, aching from the loss of Felicity and Cash, who is the only person who understands what she’s going through.

John leaves Eden in her house with a glass of water and encouragement to get some sleep. Once he’s gone, she replaces the glass of water with a glass of vodka. Hammered, she shows up at Cash’s place, pounding on his door. Hurt and closed off, he tries to send her away, but her drunken confession of her love for him brings everything to the surface. He can’t quite admit that he doesn’t love her too.

Cash takes Eden back to her place so she can go to bed, but in the midst of her pleas she kisses him, and he reciprocates briefly before his fear of losing her takes over again. John delivers Eden some breakfast and a coffee in the morning, having worried about her all night. She confesses to John about her visit to Cash last night.

Meanwhile, Theo continues to grill Justin about his lies to Leah. He can’t understand why Justin would risk things blowing up with Leah, especially when Claudia surely has other options for getting herself around.

Later, Claudia shows up at the garage in tears, claiming she didn’t know where else to go. She had a terrible fight with her husband and needs Justin’s support. Their arrangement is crossing a line. Justin’s moved to help her and sits down with her for a cuppa. She admits how grateful she is for his support.

Elsewhere, Levi catches Abigail on her way out of the house, keen to work off her drug cravings with some dancing. Levi makes it clear this absolutely won’t happen on his watch. He makes her sit down with him in front of a movie instead.

The next morning, Abigail is still not in any state of balance, pumping loud music while Levi just wants to have a peaceful breakfast. Eden shows up, hungover and in need of her siblings. But Levi and Abigail were listening to the song Eden wrote about Cash, which is salt on her wounds.

Abigail wants to take action, angered by the hurt that Cash has caused Eden. At the beach, Abigail spots Cash on his run and starts yelling at him. She gives him an earful, and Cash agrees with her that he doesn’t deserve Eden.
