Abigail bonds with Mali and is grateful when he offers her a job at the surfboard shop. However, Abigail is disgusted when Mali leaves Kirby in charge. Determined to avoid Kirby following events from their past, Abigail announces that she’s taking her break.

Later, Abigail confides in Mackenzie about how Kirby was a key factor in Eden abandoning her when they were younger. Mackenzie tips off Mali about his employees struggling to get along, so he arrives to check on what’s happening.

Meanwhile, Alf approaches Levi for his insight into what happened at the hospital. Levi is honest about how the situation deteriorated quickly and they’re lucky that Alf is still around. Alf is clearly affected and packs up his car, keen to take some time out for a while.

Bree visits Levi and tries to talk, but the conversation turns sour when she still refuses to admit any wrongdoing. Changing tactics, Bree asks Dana for support. Dana reminds Bree that she wasn’t present for the Alf incident and doesn’t intend to lie on her behalf.
