With the death of Felicity Newman still fresh in our minds, Home and Away fans are already worried about the 2024 finale.
Home and Away fans are busy speculating how the 2024 season of the show will wrap up and are already protecting their hearts just in case there’s any chance of another shock death, after fans spent the last month mourning Felicity Newman’s death from an aneurysm.
With the show usually off-air from late November through til late January, fans have been throwing out theories as to what cliffhanger the season finale will leave us all with. Because it’s Summer Bay, we know it’s not just going to be storylines nicely wrapped up and everyone smiling and hugging as they go on a summer break. It’s more likely to be someone’s life hanging in the balance, a random crime that could range from a kidnapping to a stabbing (or both!) or Bree accidentally killing someone at the hospital or something.
So while there are still a few months left before we see any dramatic scenes unfold (well, at least finale-level dramatic) fans are busy stirring up drama of their own by speculating how the 2024 series end could play out.
Home and Away fans’ shocking 2024 finale predictions
From murder, to Alf Stewart’s life hanging in the balance, to the fate of Harper’s baby, and a fan favourite leaving for greener pastures (not death, don’t worry), fans have a range of theories as to what could happen to wrap up the year that has been on Home and Away.
Some fans are speculating that it’s all over for Theo — though not in a dead kinda way.
“He’s been there for about three years now. I feel like they have kind of run out of storylines for him with no band anymore, and very few cars to ever fix, and no current girlfriend,” one fan commented. “Also didn’t I see Matt Evans (actor) overseas doing music or something?”
Someone else agreed that Theo may be done and dusted on the series. “I don’t think he’ll die, but maybe he’ll go join Ryder pursuing his passion cruising around the world somewhere playing music to the masses!”
Others are thinking it may be bad news for Perri, who is currently only a guest character. “I reckon Perri’s father will kill Perri,” one person said, while someone else thought it may go another way. “Seeing as Perri is learning to defend himself, I reckon he might inflict some serious damage on his Dad somehow,” they said.
Some fans speculated that Abigail and Tane will be caught up in all the drama too. “I got a feeling the drug dealer will return and hold Abbie hostage and Perri’s dad will try and kill Tane then leave us hanging,” someone theorised. “My thoughts are drug dealers kidnap Abby and Eden, Cash to the rescue and confesses his love to Eden and Cash rejoins the police force.”
And another fan had one final opinion that, tbh, we’d really like to see play out. “An asteroid hits just outside the Bay, cutting them off from civilisation,” they wrote. “All the residents of the Bay, turn against each other over who controls the supplies, until Alf, John, and Tane take charge in getting help to the Bay.”
I mean, why tf not at this stage?
