A family counselling session takes an unexpected turn.
Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers.
Home and Away will reveal a new love interest for Eden Fowler on UK screens next week, as she considers moving on from her ex Cash Newman.
Eden was devastated when fiancé Cash suddenly ended their relationship last year, as he struggled to process the death of his sister Felicity. Eden has been single since, but UK fans will soon see her getting closer to a new man.
Following Eden’s battle to get her little sister Abigail to see a counsellor as she recovers from drug addiction, next week’s episodes see Abigail starting to make some progress.
When her counsellor, Tim Russell, encourages Abigail to invite Eden and their brother Levi to a family session, the divided family all agree that a group counselling session could be worth having.
Unfortunately, things get off to a bad start when all three siblings make it clear how uncomfortable they are.
Tim decides to ask Eden and Levi to each tell Abigail three of her personal traits that they appreciate about her, and Abigail is delighted when she hears Levi’s compliments.
However, she’s not so pleased to hear Eden’s thoughts and she sits through her sister’s words with an unimpressed look on her face.
Abigail soon decides that she wants to share her true thoughts with the group. She begins reading her journal out, sharing some loving and appreciative words about Levi – but she has no such compliments for Eden.
Eden can’t handle it anymore. She blurts out an apology to Abigail for leaving her when she was younger to pursue her musical career with Lyrik, adding that she was also young and just trying to do her best at the time.
Levi decides that the tension between the sisters needs to end and he meets up with Abigail later that evening. Levi delivers Abigail some home truths, telling her that he left the family because it was the easier option but Eden chose to stay to look after Abigail.
He points out that Abigail needs to show Eden some forgiveness if the trio have any chance of moving forward and being a family again, leaving her with lots to think about.
Elsewhere, Tim runs into Eden and offers her some words of comfort, reassuring her that their counselling session may have been tough but it was a vital thing to go through.
The pair decide to go out for a drink together and they’re soon enjoying some flirty banter. But when Tim realises how much chemistry he and Eden seem to have, he suddenly becomes awkward and makes an excuse to leave.
A confused Eden doesn’t know what to think. Could there be an unexpected romantic future between her and Tim? And could this damage her relationship with Abigail further just as they’re making some progress?
