The band are reunited.
Home and Away spoilers follow from Australian pace episodes, which some UK viewers may prefer to avoid.
Home and Away has revealed plans to reunite Lyrik after an on-screen break for the band’s music careers.
The four-piece group have often taken centre stage on the show in the past couple of years, with storylines focusing on their weekly gigs, surprise fallouts and frequent career dramas.
More recently, fans have seen a change in dynamics as band members Theo Poulos, Kirby Aramoana, Eden Fowler and Remi Carter have taken different directions in life.
The group took a break from performing when Theo wanted to focus on getting his mental health back on track as he worked to give up drugs. The foursome had also been struggling to juggle music with their other job commitments.
This allowed Theo, Kirby, Eden and Remi to be explored more as characters in their own right – but it seems they’ll become a united front again in upcoming episodes.
This week’s episodes in Australia have seen Remi lead the fight to revive Lyrik after a surprise financial windfall.
Remi has been given a $5 million trust fund payment from his wealthy grandmother and wants to use the cash to support the band, allowing them to focus on music with enough savings to fall back on.
The key moment came when Remi managed to get Theo back on board, promising that he wouldn’t be put under pressure with publicity commitments this time.
Theo had previously struggled with the pressure of being interviewed by journalists, creating some tricky challenges and awkward moments.
Once Theo agreed, Lyrik approached Mackenzie Booth about reclaiming their weekly performance slot at her restaurant, Salt.
With everything falling into place, will it be a triumphant comeback for the band – or will a spanner be thrown into the works?
Home and Away airs these scenes in early 2025 on Channel 5 in the UK.
