Hollyoaks fans were left saying the same thing after they ‘knew’ who was behind the missing duffle bag as Dillon Ray found himself in the centre of more trouble
Hollyoaks fans were all left with the same reaction after tuning into Monday’s (February 17) episode.
The instalment, now available for online streaming, saw Darren Osborne (played by Ashley Taylor-Dawson) waking up at Dillon Ray (Nathaniel Dass) and Lucas Hay’s (Oscar Curtis) house, unable to recall much.
Back home, Darren found himself in trouble with both his wife Nancy (Jessica Fox) and Frankie Osborne (Isabelle Smith). Rex arrived to collect a bag of money from Dillon, only to find it missing.
Dillon later discovered that Rex’s boss is involved in drug dealing, leading to panic as he tried to locate the missing cash. Darren apologised to Frankie, who accused him of sleeping with Kat Omari (Sonia Ibrahim).
Darren denied the claim, stating they merely passed out after excessive drinking. However, when Kat entered Price Slice, she didn’t support Darren’s version of events, leaving him stunned.
Frankie later discovered that Kat and Darren knew each other from Newcastle, leading her to believe they were more interested in each other than her. She subsequently kicked them out of Price Slice, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Later in the episode, Kat informed Rex she couldn’t assist him with Frankie, but he threatened her, saying if she ever wanted to see her son again, she would have to help groom Frankie for his business. When Rex showed up at Vicky Grant (Anya Lawrence) and Robbie Roscoe’s (Charlie Wernham) engagement party with a facial cut, Dillon assumed it was inflicted by Rex’s boss.

Viewers were thrown for a loop when it was revealed in Hollyoaks that Rex had the missing duffle bag the entire time, subsequently framing Dillon for its loss. On social media, one savvy fan wrote: “I KNEW IT! ! ! ! Rex took back the duffle bag and framed Dillion for losing it. That’s so messed up.”
Emotions ran high as another viewer exclaimed: “REX HAS THE DUFFEL BAG” paired with crying emojis.
A sympathetic third chimed in: “It’s not your fault Dillion, you lost Rex’s money, it’s his fault stashing it at your place, knowing you were having a party, and anyone could take it.”

Hollyoaks is set to delve into the harrowing themes of criminal and sexual exploitation with characters Frankie and Dillon. They find themselves entangled in the sinister machinations of a criminal gang, orchestrated by the manipulative Rex who is focusing his efforts on Dillon, exploiting his vulnerabilities in a bid to split him from Lucas.
Meanwhile, Frankie falls prey to the grooming of Kat, working under the directives of both Rex and Grace Black (Tamara Wall).
Hollyoaks airs Monday to Wednesday on E4 at 7pm and first look episodes can be streamed Channel 4 from 7am
