Can Lucas get over his boyfriend having a baby with a sister?

Hollyoaks has teased a New Year’s reunion for Lucas Hay and Dillon Ray, following all their recent dramas.

During the one-year time jump this year, while Lucas was in youth offenders, Dillon slept with Lucas’ sister Leah and got her pregnant. Once Lucas returned to the village, Dillon broke up with him to avoid all the drama, but the drama happened anyway when Lucas found out.

Baby James is living with Dillon and his family while Ste is recovering from psychosis, which means that Lucas still has to see his ex, but he has stated that he has no interest in getting back together.

However, as New Year’s Eve approaches, they have their first proper conversation about the situation, and Dillon lays his cards on the table.

As they think about New Year, and the tradition of starting afresh, they weigh up whether there are just too many obstacles in the way of them getting along, let alone back together. However, with some intervention from Pearl Anderson, they see in 2025 at Casa McQueen.

On January 1, Dillon decides to go for broke and pleads with Lucas to be with him again, telling his ex that he knows the feelings are mutual.

Elsewhere, Rex Gallagher invites Lucas to join him for drinks, and he’ll pay. Over at Dillon’s, Donny Clark has a go at him for not pulling his weight with baby James.

Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
