New Year’s Eve dawns in the village and the Hutchinsons are shocked as they finally find Ro unconscious on his bedroom floor. Tony blames himself for not noticing that anything was wrong last night.

Diane also feels guilty for pretending that she was the one stealing alcohol, which meant that Ro’s troubles went unnoticed. When it all becomes too much to bear, Diane flees from the hospital.

Marie and Arlo also arrive at the hospital, with Arlo covering his role in recent events by “innocently” asking if Ro is okay.

Later, Tony and Diane are reunited at Ro’s bedside as they try to secure some firm answers over Ro’s drinking and whether a specific event caused yesterday’s incident. Will Arlo’s cruel behaviour be exposed?

Meanwhile, Dillon and Lucas try to break through the ongoing awkwardness between them by talking properly for the first time in a while. Dillon lays his cards on the table ahead of the New Year.

Pearl also gets involved to play matchmaker, so Lucas eventually asks Dillon to see in the New Year with him at Casa McQueen. Can they make 2025 a fresh start for them both, or are there still too many obstacles in the way?
