Lucas fears for the safety of his loved ones after calling the police on Rex. He tells Frankie and Dillon what he’s done.

Frankie and Dillon prove their loyalty to Rex by warning him. This advance notice helps Rex to throw the police off the scent.

Later, Rex informs Grace that he has asked Frankie and Dillon to deal at a party. Frankie is shocked to see Oscar at the gathering, so she tries to warn him that it’s not safe and encourages him to go home.

Ro is shocked when he sees Oscar back in the village and tries to apologise for what happened last month. Oscar is unable to hear due to his cochlear implant being damaged, so he gets frightened and falls over.

Meanwhile, concerns grow that Ste could be unwell again as he continues his mission to prove that Jez killed his cat and replaced it with another one. Leela suggests that Ste should book an appointment with his doctor, but Ste cancels it.

Elsewhere, Pearl interrupts a moment between Darren and Nancy, warning them that Oscar isn’t in his bed.
