Cleo prepares for a job interview at the hospital. Mercedes is wheeled past by guards for her latest chemotherapy appointment, but she tells Cleo to stay away.

Cleo has a panic attack and Joel steps in to comfort her. Leela gets suspicious when she finds out that Joel hasn’t turned up for work.

At the same time, Cleo also sees that Sienna is back in the village after a holiday.

Meanwhile, Ste wakes up and finds that Rex has been looking after Clara and James. He tells Rex that he appreciates his help, but doesn’t need him to be his nurse. Rex admits that he finds it hard to stay away from Ste.

Later, Ste and Rex take a walk together, where they take the opportunity to open up about their feelings and struggles.

Lucas tells Dillon that he doesn’t want anything to do with him or Rex. Dillon gives a package to Grace, explaining that Rex asked him to deliver it. Grace sees that he’s showing off his new car and advises him to stay under the radar.

Elsewhere, John Paul starts to worry about how much he communicates with Jez.
