Hollyoaks’ Robbie to panic over Darren’s mystery disappearance

Is it connected to Dave?

Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Hollyoaks is to air worrying scenes for Robbie Roscoe next week, when he fears that he is involved in Darren Osborne’s disappearance.

Last month, Darren went missing after struggling to cope with the stress of his son JJ’s illness and his daughter Frankie’s quest for justice from her twin brother’s abuse.

While Nancy initially wasn’t concerned about her husband, Jack wanted the authorities to take Darren’s disappearance seriously.

Last week, the police revealed that Darren’s personal belongings had been found in an abandoned car, which worried Nancy – who explained about his history of depression.

As she began to panic about her husband’s whereabouts, Nancy decided to lie to the children and told them that Darren had texted her to explain that he was staying with his sister Ruth.

In scenes that will air next week, there is no new information about Darren, and Jack tells Nancy to stay strong when it comes to her missing husband.

Nancy sticks to her decision to not tell Frankie about her dad’s disappearance, and she continues to believe that he is with his sister.

Meanwhile, Robbie starts to get suspicious about Darren’s disappearance and believes that it could be linked to his murder of Dave, as Darren’s abandoned car was one of Dave’s stolen motors.

Viewers will remember that just before the show’s time jump, Robbie killed Dave in the woods, after finding out through a note left by Cindy that Dave is the infamous gangster Blue.

Later in the week, Nancy returns to work at the school, but she has the weight of the world on her shoulders. She admits to John Paul that she doesn’t think Darren will ever come back.

Robbie’s theory is proved false when Rex tells him that while he did give Darren one of the stolen cars, he didn’t tell anyone about Dave’s death.

He later relays to his brother Freddie that according to Rex, Darren was in a state about JJ when he left the pub and didn’t return.

Things then take an even more worrying turn, when at the police station, Nancy finds out that Darren’s blood has been found in the abandoned car. Will Darren ever be seen again?

Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
