Hollyoaks favourite Frankie Osborne panics next week as she spots her younger brother Oscar at a dodgy party where drugs are being sold.
Frankie is fearful as two worlds collide – and she’s desperate to make sure that her family aren’t implicated in her risky new lifestyle.
Show bosses recently announced that Frankie and Dillon Ray will both take centre stage in a huge new storyline, which will see them groomed by a criminal gang.
The long-running plot will explore criminal and sexual exploitation in young people. Dillon has been targeted by Rex Gallagher, who has given him a place to stay at James Nightingale’s old house while hiding his ulterior motives.
Meanwhile, Rex has pressured Kat Omari to manipulate Frankie by alienating her from her family.
As the early stages of the story continue next week, Dillon’s boyfriend Lucas Hay admits that he has called the police on Rex to report his recent dodgy dealings.
Dillon and Frankie are both still loyal to Rex, so they tip him off over Lucas’s call. The advance notice works wonders for Rex, who manages to throw the police off the scent.
Later, Rex informs his sister Grace Black about the next stage of his plan – asking Frankie and Dillon to deal drugs at a party.
As the gathering gets under way, Frankie is shocked to see Oscar turn up after sneaking out of his bedroom.
Oscar is facing a troubled time of his own, as he was recently hospitalised after getting caught in the crossfire of Ro Hutchinson and Arlo Fielding’s latest bullying incident. His cochlear implant was also damaged in the clash, meaning that he can’t hear as well as he usually can.
Frankie firmly warns Oscar that he’s not safe at the party and tells him to go home.
After the chaotic start to their criminal actions, Frankie and Dillon both start to have second thoughts – but Rex tempts them with perks. Will he keep them under his evil influence?
Hollyoaks airs these scenes in the week commencing Monday, March 3 on Channel 4 Streaming and E4.
