Another Hollyoaks cast member has left the soap, with her final scenes set to air next week in what is tipped to be one of the show’s most dramatic moments ever
Annie Wallace has left Hollyoaks after nine years.
The star is heartbroken to end her stint playing Sally St Claire on the soap. She said: “When I was told my character was going, I was very shocked.
“I had a bad weekend. But then I got on with it. I don’t want to collapse into sobs. That’s not my thing.”
Annie’s final scenes as Sally will air next week.
The actress is at the centre of an explosive stunt involving a motorbike crash. It’s tipped to be one of the most dramatic moments in show history.
She said: “I’ve watched my final scenes and it was bittersweet. I found it really difficult.”
Annie is now looking to the future and has a string of projects in the pipeline.
She said: “I’m at a bit of a loose end. But I’ve got my fingers in lots of pies. Acting is my first love and that’s what I want to do. I’d like to be in another soap or Doctor Who.
“I am doing some light and sound for a play, I’ve written half of an album, I’ve started writing my autobiography and I’ve also got a show I’d like to take to the Edinburgh Fringe.”
Annie’s exit will air during next week’s explosive episodes, which kick off on Monday at 7pm on E4.
