Lives are on the line.
Hollyoaks spoilers follow from Tuesday’s episode on Channel 4 streaming, which doesn’t air on E4 until tonight at 7pm.
Hollyoaks has aired a devastating motorbike crash involving Cleo McQueen.
The preview episode picked up directly where Monday’s (September 9) instalment had left off, with Cleo hitching a ride on Dave’s bike to escape her abusive boyfriend Abe.
Cleo asked Dave to take her to Mercedes and Warren, having no idea that she was leading Dave – who moonlights as the gangster Blue – directly to his intended targets.
Dave promised he’d take Cleo to her family, yet he ended up dropping her off in the woods where Abe quickly found her.
Cleo desperately tried to keep Abe away, resorting to hitting him with her helmet and jumping back on the bike to escape. Meanwhile, Warren left Mercedes alone with the twins as he went to find Cleo.
Warren was confronted in the woods by Dave, instead of Cleo. Dave finally revealed his identity, claiming that he had tried to clean up his life until Warren sold his daughter Lizzie the drugs that killed her.
When Dave taunted his nemesis over killing Norma, Warren realised that Dave must be Blue. The two men then began fighting, with both aiming to kill the other.
Dave produced a knife from his pocket and stabbed Warren. He then pulled out a gun to finish off his nemesis for good.
Warren eventually wrestled the gun away from Blue and shot him. Back in the village, the residents had no idea the danger they were in because of a bomb strapped under James’ car.
Inside the McQueen house, Sally had brokered an emotional truce between Frankie and Suzanne where the teen’s mum finally apologised for siding with the abusive JJ.
All of this harrowing drama culminated with Cleo trying to race back to the village, but struggling to control Dave’s motorbike.
With Abe on her trail, Cleo crashed into a table outside the cafe. While she fell to the ground, the bike smashed through the front window of the McQueen house.
The episode ended with the bike seemingly crashing into Suzanne and Frankie, while Cleo lay lifeless on the street outside the house.
Who has survived the crash?
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
