Former Home and Away star Sam Frost announces pregnancy

“It has been a wild ride.”

Former Home and Away star Sam Frost has revealed that she is expecting her second child.

The actor, who played Jasmine Delaney between 2017 and 2022, announced her pregnancy on Instagram, where she shared a photo of herself and her fiancé Jordie Hansen smiling in front of the sea with their arms around each other.

Frost is also holding the couple’s one-year-old son Ted, with the family all dressed in shades of green.

“Our family is growing from three to four,” she captioned the post. “It has been a wild ride but we are extremely grateful our little one is healthy and doing okay in there. We are all very excited to meet you, especially your big brother!

“Huge thank you to our family and friends for all their love and support over these past few months. We love you.”

The star received lots of congratulatory comments on her post, including from her former co-star Penny McNamee (Tori Morgan), who wrote “Congratulations Sammy” with a red heart emoji.

Frost also shared an adorable moment on her Stories, as she posted a photo of Ted kissing her baby bump and wrote “daily kisses from your big bro… WE LOVE YOU”.

Frost and Hansen, who got engaged in July 2022, welcomed their son Ted in March 2023, with Frost later sharing an update on how she had “surprised” herself when it came to adjusting to parenthood.

“I found pregnancy really difficult and I thought that would be perhaps a reflection on what is going to happen coming up, but to be honest I am actually a little more relaxed than I thought,” she said.

She added that Ted had been “a dream baby”, calling him “so happy”.

“He is so chilled, he laughs all the time and thinks I am the greatest person in life,” she said. “He loves my performances, I perform to him constantly and he thinks it is great.”

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5, with repeat screenings at 6pm on 5STAR and first-look screenings at 6.30pm on 5STAR. Selected classic episodes are available via Prime Video in the UK.
