Emmerdale’s Tom King ‘to get caught’ as he makes huge ‘blunder’ after shock Piper attack

Emmerdale fans have pointed out Tom King’s blunder after he attacked dog Piper, which they think will lead to his downfall.

Emmerdale fans are convinced Tom King is about to get caught out, following a glaring mistake he made while attacking dog Piper.

Fans will recall the nasty villager (James Chase) has been abusing and gaslighting his wife Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) for months. Recently though, Belle managed to break free and told Tom that their marriage is over.

However, despite their not being together, he has been trying to win her back with several grand gestures. Meanwhile, Belle is none the wiser that Tom has secretly set up cameras in her home – and is watching her every move.

And during Friday’s instalment, (August 16) sinister Tom sank to new lows as he attacked Belle’s beloved dog piper.

After Belle demanded he leave a family celebration, Tom later drove up to the Wishing Well Cottage and noticed innocent doggy Piper. In a hard-to-watch scene, he then drove the car towards her.

At the end of the episode, a frantic Tom was later seen rushing back to the village with Piper wrapped in a blanket pretending to be concerned for the dog he just mowed down with his car. Leaving the pub, Belle spotted Tom, who promised he’d do all he could to save Piper.

However, fans are certain that Tom will get caught out following his vile attack, after he made a glaring “mistake”.

Fans have ‘worked out’ how Tom will get caught

Over on an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one person pointed out how CCTV nearby could have captured him running over the pup.

The viewer wrote: “Seeing as Wishing Well Cottage is next door to Eric’s house, could his doorbell camera have captured Tom’s most vile and cruellest act? Certainly hope so, although a horrible experience for Eric and Brenda if they check the footage.”

Someone else said: “What a good thought.” While a third penned: “Yes! It would show Tom was the one that run her over.” (sic)

Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
