The actor refused to show his co-star’s face while updating fans on social media

Emmerdale star Danny Miller took to his social media and posted a cryptic video with Lawrence Robb while refusing to show his co-star’s face as he said, “I can’t”.

Danny Miller first joined the ITV soap in 2008 as Aaron Dingle, before becoming a permanent cast member in 2023. Since then he’s tackled some heartbreaking storylines, and was also part of a beloved Dales couple with Robert Sugden where fans lovingly labelled them as “Robron”.

Since then, he’s become embroiled in the Anthony Fox murder scandal after he fought with the villain at the depot. During their argument, Aaron threw several punches at Anthony which left him bleeding out on the floor.

As he returned with boyfriend John Sugden, Anthony was already dead – however, the pair later found out that it was Ruby who had decided to end her father’s life after the years of sexual abuse she endured as a teenager.

Taking to his Instagram on Tuesday (March 12), Danny posted a black and white video of him speaking to Lawrence Robb who plays Mackenzie Boyd. The video started with Danny talking to Lawrence about how to make a proper cup of coffee, and putting “cold water in so it doesn’t burn the granules”.

Danny then smiled at the camera and said “I wish I could show your face” as Lawrence laughed in the background. Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), @VanitySwarla wrote: “So Danny miller just posted an insta story having a convo with Lawrence and then said ‘I wish I could show your face’ THIS MEANS SOMETHING!!! Obviously something happens to Mack …. Intriguing”.

Mackenzie Boyd was introduced to Emmerdale in 2020 and was found to be the long-lost brother of Moira Barton. He tracked Moira down when his mother fell terminally ill and she requested for him to find Moira so they could make amends.

While his car broke down on the outskirts of the village, and Charity Dingle stepped in to fix his vehicle. This eventually led to their romance, and they got married in 2023.

At the start of the year, the ITV soap teased fans by showing five flashforwards, with one already being revealed as Amy Wyatt’s hand under the ice after the Valentine’s limo crash.

One of the flashforwards showed Mackenzie running through the forest, but there has been no link in recent episodes as to what or who he could be running from. Seeing as Danny couldn’t show Mackenzie’s face and they film weeks in advance, this could mean what happens to Mackenzie could be aired in upcoming weeks.
