Beth Cordingly and Natalie J Robb appeared in The Bill together

Emmerdale’s Beth Cordingly has spoken with great admiration for the co-star who gives her goosebumps.

Appearing at an Emmerdale press event, Beth was full of praise for Natalie J Robb and her portrayal of character Moira’s challenging brain tumour scenes. Some may have forgotten that Moira star Natalie J Robb and Beth Cordingly, who plays Ruby, both appeared in The Bill.

Natale, 49, appeared between 2024 and 2005, while Beth, 47, was in the police drama between 2002 and 2004. Since joining Emmerdale, earlier this year, Beth has shared some major scenes with Natalie.

Beth explained: “I absolutely love working with Natalie. We worked together on The Bill, 20-years-ago, and we had a tiny bit together where we overlapped but not meaty stuff. I think she’s a brilliant, brilliant actress and I think the stuff she’s been doing on screen recently is amazing.

“I’ve got goosebumps talking about it actually. It is always thrilling.”

Beth teased that their characters will soon be involved in some scenes Emmerdale fans will not want to miss. She concluded: “That carries on, our ups and downs. I can’t really say much else.”
