Emmerdale’s Amy Walsh declares ‘I miss it so much’ as she supports Leyla star after exit

The actress showed love for Roxy Shahidi after she left the ITV soap last month

Emmerdale actress Amy Walsh admitted “I miss it to much” as she supports Roxy Shahidi’s next career move after leaving the Dales last month.

Amy joined the ITV soap in 2014 to take on the role of Tracy Metcalfe. She first appeared in the village after meeting Sam Dingle on an adult chat line, and after convincing him to let her stay she conned him out of money and left.

She’s been a regular character since returning in 2015, and even had an affair with Caleb Miligan. Her most recent relationship was with Nate Robinson, with the pair sharing a daughter, Frankie.

Nate abruptly left the village last year after his marriage to Tracy broke down and he had a new job opportunity in Shetland. However, in recent episodes fans found out that Nate never actually left as his dead body is currently in the lake where the limo crash happened.

Speaking of the Valentine’s Day tragedy, Tracy was one of the villagers involved in the crash that killed three people – including her half-sister Vanessa’s girlfriend, Suzy Merton.

Taking to her Instagram on Wednesday (12th March), Amy reposted a Yoga video from Roxy Shahidi and wrote: “I AM gonna find some time for this tomorrow! I miss it so much!”

Followed by another video with the caption: “If your body needs some TLC today then treat yourself to this!” Roxy reposted to her own story and added: “Love you”.

Roxy bid farewell to the Dales after her character Leyla died from being impaled with a piece of glass during the limo crash. Since leaving the ITV soap, Roxy has set up her own business all to do with Yoga. She previously shared: “I’ve started to do more and more yoga. I want to teach more, so I’ve set up a little business called Yoga Rox.

“I’m going to do corporate yoga with online subscriptions and I want to travel with the yoga too. I’m really excited about doing more podcasts with Matthew Wolfenden and maybe doing some presenting. I also write, so I want to do more writing. I want to keep acting, too.”

Emmerdale airs on weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
