Vinny has some exciting news!
Aaron Dingle will discover the object of Vinny’s affections on Emmerdale next week, with the character happy for his fellow Dingle.
Vinny, who was previously married to Aaron’s half-sister Liv before her tragic death, has gotten close with Gabby Thomas in recent months, with their friendship going to new levels.
The situation changed, however, when Vinny and Gabby shared a kiss, with the former hesitant to pursue a new relationship in addition to the fear of losing his virginity.
This will all change next week though as the pair resume their passions by sharing another kiss, with Vinny finally ready to take the next step and commit to a relationship.
Beaming from the positive development, Vinny tells Aaron of his romance, with the latter glad that Vinny is showing signs of moving on from Liv.
Will Vinny and Gabby be a match made in heaven?
With the pair finally making progress, it seems that Rosie Bentham – who has played Gabby since 2016 – has gotten her wish, with the actor explaining last month how she wanted the characters to get together.
“I think Gabby needs Vinny even just as a mate,” remarked Bentham. “Vinny would be good for Gabby, but it’d come down to whether she’s willing to change herself. She’s probably a bit too feisty for Vinny at the minute. She’d need to chill out for that.
“It’s a bit of a chalk and cheese situation, isn’t it. When the story got pitched to me, I was like: ‘Oh, how is that going to happen?’ But as the story goes on, the writing has been quite funny and light-hearted.
“I actually thought after being dumped at the altar [by Nicky Milligan], Gabby was in her ‘I hate men’ phase – but that’s always when they come along, isn’t it?” she added.
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
