Emmerdale may have revealed what Tracy Robinson is hiding from her loved ones after a mysterious scene showed her with loads of money ahead of a flashback clip airing

There’s another big mystery on Emmerdale, after Wednesday’s episode saw Tracy Robinson hiding something from her sister Vanessa Woodfield.

Tracy was seen a bit uneasy with her pal and boss Eric Pollard in the shop where she works, before turning up to the pub with a load of money. Eric had given her some cash to put towards drinks to raise a toast for Leyla Harding, who recently died on the ITV soap in a limo crash.

But the amount Tracy had in her purse seemed to be more than what Eric gave her, and the group she was with including sibling Vanessa seemed surprised. As Tracy went to hand over the money from Eric, she took loads of notes out of her purse.

This didn’t go unnoticed by the girls with it commented on, before Vanessa told her sister she could finally pay her for the house bills that she owed. Tracy looked annoyed if not awkward about this, and the prospect of handing the money over.

It was clear she was hiding something, while spoilers for next week appear to have confirmed what it is. Spoilers aside, some fans think they know what’s going on in a big twist.

One theory is that she could be stealing and that’s how she’s got the cash. One fan suggested: “I think she starts stealing.” A spoiler teased she “faces temptation” while in Eric’s shop, so might this be where it’s from?

As for the spoilers for next week, they reveal that Tracy is experiencing financial struggles and that she is keeping them a secret from her sister Vanessa. Tracy feels extremely guilty about her secret, but she fears she’s about to be exposed when Eric makes contact.

He summons her to the Woolpack for a chat, but what has she done and is she going to be rumbled? According to one publication Tracy has been stealing from Eric while this has not been stated in the spoiler lines so fans will have to wait and see what it’s all about.

Tracy isn’t the only one keeping secrets though, with two other characters also hiding things and also set to feature in flashback clips this week. One of these characters is Mary Goskirk, who is helping Vanessa through her grief after her girlfriend Suzy Merton died in the crash.

Mary is hiding something about that night, with all set to be revealed. Elsewhere, Manpreet Sharma is also hiding a secret, with her also set to be rumbled very soon.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
