Multiple Emmerdale residents have been pointed out as Tom King’s nemesis as fans are eager to watch his downfall unfold. But this Wednesday, another villager was added to the list.
Amelia Spencer is falling for Tom King’s devious lies and Emmerdale viewers have now suggested someone close to home could save her from his grasp and even help Belle Dingle.
Noah Dingle (portrayed by Jack Downham) was dumped by the 18-year-old, after it was revealed he had turned Samson Dingle in to the authorities. And though he was once not troubled by Tom King, the latter’s budding romance with the young mum has sparked tension in the eponymous ITV village.
During Tuesday’s (September 3) instalment of the long-running drama, it was revealed that Amelia and Tom (respectively played by Daisy Campbell and James Chase) had been romantically involved for several weeks, leaving both Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) and Noah in shock.

Viewers of the Yorkshire-based programme will remember that Belle has been tormented for several months by Tom, and his relentless abuse is nowhere near over.
While Belle knows what Tom is capable of, fellow Emmerdale residents have no idea how sinister the vet can really be. But with Amelia in his life, some soap fans believe Noah has now every reason to go after him and maybe even figure out what he’s really been up to in recent months.
On Tuesday, one fan took to X, otherwise known as Twitter, to suggest: “After tonight’s Episode my theory is this – Noah will see Tom do something to Amelia and he will act – Thus I believe Noah is the one beating up Tom in the Trailer.” While other soap watchers were more concerned about her and her daughter Esther’s well-being.
Many have wondered if Tom would be capable of “taking advantage” of Amelia due to his violent and manipulative behaviour towards Belle. But in another theory, Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) was thought to be the one to take Tom down.
In June, 2024, Emmerdale fans spotted a clue that the Woolpack landlady would take a stand for Belle Dingle during a telling scene showing Tom losing his temper as he mentioned her miscarriage, prompting Charity to open up about her ectopic pregnancy which took place in 2022. Later on, Charity offered Belle some well-deserved comfort.
Taking to Twitter at the time, soap fans shared their predictions: “A ‘the three’ where chas, lydia and charity collectively kill tom #Emmerdale?” A second echoed: “Do you think that charity, Chas and Lydia are catching on and going to investigate and find out about toms abuse?? #emmerdale”, while a third agreed: “Charity, Chastity and Lydia – the Three Musketeers all set to rescue Belle! #Emmerdale” while a different viewer added: “DINGLE WOMEN TO THE RESCUE #emmerdale.” But could Noah help?
