Emmerdale fans are convinced someone will die in the fallout to the barn fire after one cast member appeared to hint a character would be killed off, but are John and Ruby at risk?
Emmerdale may have teased a sad death is looming, but it might not be Moira Dingle despite her health news.
A devastating fire ripped through a barn on Moira’s farm this week, with her accidentally causing the blaze amid her confusion. Moira has been acting out of character for weeks with outbursts, trances and seizures.
After tests in the latest episode, Moira was terrified as she was told there was a mass on her brain which was causing all of her symptoms. But amid fears she will be killed off in tragic scenes, there could be another death on the cards.
Fans of the show are convinced someone will die in the fallout to the explosion, with a number of characters injured. Natalie J Robb who plays Moira recently teased to press that someone could die, suggesting “not everyone would make it out”.
While nothing is confirmed, some worrying scenes in the latest episode may have teased a shocking death despite everyone seeming to make it out alive. Ruby Miligan and Will Taylor were both rushed to hospital after being left injured in the fireball.

Will was said to be in a bad way, while he was later shown awake and talking. But could he be more injured than he realises, leading to a shock demise?
Ruby was also up and about following her being hit over the head with a shotgun. Ruby was trapped in the blaze and rescued by John Sugden, with her barely conscious and taken to hospital.
Her husband Caleb Miligan shared his concern as she kept coughing due to smoke inhalation. Fans are fearing Ruby will collapse and die in the fallout, so is tragedy ahead?

Finally we have John, who was seen choking quite a bit after the blaze. He raced into the burning barn and rescued Ruby before he was blown off his feet by the blast.
Tracy Metcalfe was concerned and got doctor Liam Cavanagh to check John over, when he began coughing heavily in the village. He said he was fine, with Liam then confirming he should be alright despite some slight swelling in his airways.
He warned John to head to A&E if he felt unwell, but might this all foreshadow a sad death for the newcomer? Viewers will just have to wait and see whether the soap decides to throw in a death twist or not!
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
