Actress Georgia Jay recently joined the cast of Emmerdale.
Emmerdale newcomer Georgia Jay has been flooded with sweet support from her co-star. The actress recently took on the role of Stephanie Milligan in the ITV hit soap.
Her character is the estranged daughter of Ruby Fox-Miligan and Caleb Miligan. She’s also the sister of Nicky Milligan, who recently left the village with boyfriend Suni.
Steph hasn’t seen either of her parents in well over a decade, so her arrival came as a huge surprise to everyone. Away from the soap, Georgia likes to keep her fans updated on social media. The star recently took to Instagram and shared a snap and teased that something could be coming soon as she captioned the post: “Stay tuned…”
The comment section was soon flooded with sweet remarks, including one from her on-screen mum Ruby, played by Beth Cordingly. The actress simply wrote: “Beautiful.”
One fan commented: “Absolutely beautiful and brilliant in playing your role.” Another said: “Oh wow that is an incredible, amazing and fantastic photo shot of you there Georgia. You look absolutely amazing and very smart in that photo shot of you there as well. Absolutely Beautiful and Stunning there Georgia.” (sic)
A third said: “You’re absolutely stunning and the best new character in Emmerdale for ages!” One commented: “You’re brilliant in Emmerdale just what it needs.” (sic)

Meanwhile another fan added: “I can only imagine what poor Steph is going to go through as they try to navigate all of this. Happy to hear various members of the cast describe you all as one big family because acting through a storyline like this requires that kind of support. Mind each other.”
Upon joining the Emmerdale cast, Georgia previously shared: “I am thrilled to be joining the cast of Emmerdale. The cast and crew have all been so welcoming and I’m very excited to see what lies ahead for Steph, given her intriguing backstory.”
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays
