Amy Walsh has spoken out about the allegations
An Emmerdale star has spoken out following the Gregg Wallace allegations which have led to his removal from MasterChef.
The TV presenter has been accused of making inappropriate sexual comments and of inappropriate behaviour, which he has denied. These allegations span 17 years, and Wallace has been accused of requesting female production staff’s phone numbers and of undressing in front of women working on the show.
Now, as a result of the allegations, the planned MasterChef Christmas special has been pulled from schedule. The rest of the current series of MasterChef is still set to air as normal.
However, the Christmas Special was already filmed, and a number of stars have spoken out about what has happened as the episode is no longer set to air. Emmerdale star Amy Walsh, who plays Tracy Metcalfe on the show, was supposed to appear, and has now commented.
In a statement posted to her social media, she wrote: “Beyond gutted about this decision after all the hard work we all put in.
“Sorry to confirm they won’t be showing our Celebrity Christmas Special 2024! When we can I’ll try and share some pics of what I made, maybe I’ll recreate it for you all in my kitchen.”
Previously, Amy Walsh appeared on Celebrity MasterChef in 2023, making it all the way to the final of the series.
