A familiar voice was heard during Friday’s episode of Emmerdale

An Emmerdale character has made a shock return to the ITV soap.

This spoiler comes from the Friday drop of Emmerdale on ITVx. In the scenes, Tracy was seen calling Nate who’d left the village, as viewers understood it, for a job in Shetland.

Tracy was heard leaving Nate a voicemail – after his voice was heard briefly. Tracy said: “Hi Nate, it is me. I don’t know what made me think I’d get through to you at this time.”

Nate Robinson was played by Jurell Carter with the actor speaking to us about his Emmerdale exit last year. Jurell explained: “My agent was itching for me to go a few-years-ago but I said it didn’t feel like the right time. I was in the right place.

“I’d know when the time was right. It didn’t feel like the right time. Now I feel like I’ve reached the point where it is now or never in the sense of that if I don’t do it now, not live to regret it, but be wondering ‘what if?’.

“I didn’t want that feeling. I feel like five years is the perfect time for me as an actor to move on to something else.”

Back to Friday’s episode of Emmerdale, Eric continued to comfort a distraught Jacob following the death of his mum Leyla. Eric said: “You can’t bring her back.”

Jacob later confronted Noah about his perceived role in Leyla’s death. Charity was seen feeling guilty about driving the limo that crashed and resulted in the deaths of villagers.

Charity said: “People died because of me and I need to know why.” She added: “How is any of this fair?”

While Mack revealed to the cafe that Cain slept with Ruby. Kyle overheard the revelation and then wanted to stay with Matty
